Mare care:    Dry $12.00 per Day    Wet $12.00 per Day

We know how important your "girls" are to you and will do all we can to keep each of them happy and comfortable during their stay with us.  We offer your choice of stalls with daily turn-out and small individual paddocks with run-in sheds for 24/7 turn-out.  We appreciate it if you can provide us with an approximate date for mare care as early as possible so that we can be sure that we have the space available.

TRANSPORTED COOLED SEMEN collection and shipping in 2007 will be handled by the wonderful folks at Wisconsin Equine Clinic and Hospital.   Scheduled collectiosn are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays BUT we will do all that we can to collect on additional days so that we can get you the semen you need when you need it.  If at all possible (and we know it is not always possible) I would love to be called the night before you need the collection done.  If you cannot call the night before you need a shipment please make sure to call me at the office (847-688-0300 x 205) before noon.  This will give me time to get Kid loaded up and on his way to Wisconsin Equine before they close for the day!   If you call after noon on the day you need a shipment I cannot guarantee that I will be able to ship until the next day -- I will try but NO promises!

There is a $250.00 collection and shipping fee for cooled semen.  In the event that a second shipment is required, the only charge to you will be for the shipping.  We will cover the cost of collection for the second shipment at NO CHARGE to you.  However, you will be responsible for both collection and shipping charges for any additional shipments.

In the event that the mare does not settle, or otherwise qualifies for a rebreed the following year, a $300.00 laboratory and processing fee will be charged for the first shipment of the second breeding  year.   This is instead of the $250.00 standard collection and shipping fee -- not in addition to it.
